I’ve had such a great experience with Pure Balance. I had gone to other chiropractors before but Doctors Magwood and Matthew are above the rest. I appreciate that they address every and any concern you have. They come up with a comprehensive treatment plan with re-exams every so often. The re-exams are great so you can see how your body has benefitted from the adjustments. Education is emphasized to improve patient heath. Workshops are offered as part of your care. After your initial visit you are given an appointment schedule. You know exactly how many visits you will have and when. Scheduling is easy and flexible. I appreciate that they were very clear on the costs over the course of my treatment and very helpful when working with our insurance. I can’t say enough good things about the doctors and their staff.
Dr. Magwood is the best. He could just look at me and know when there was a problem. Not only that, but he could pinpoint that problem exactly. He would hit the spot on the first try and would make it feel better instantly. My daughter had been to many orthopedic physicians, chiropractors, etc. over the course of about 9 years. She has always been involved in athletics and whenever she was injured the course of treatment involved medication and refraining from doing any activity. Until she was treated by Dr. Mag, she never knew she could feel so good and have a doctor understand her needs as an athlete. His staff has been nothing but courteous, helpful, and professional. Excellent service and very passionate about their work. Chronic pain due to herniated neck disc was alleviated and my quality of life went back to normal. I highly recommend them..
I am super happy I was referred to Dr. Magwood’s practice. It’s a very friendly place, with a strong desire to educate their patients and help them redefine their wellness. I feel totally safe and in good hands during my adjustments and I am feeling better already. These guys really know what they’re doing. I’ve been to two or three chiropractors before (for a one-off visit) and this practice ranks right at the top. Their holistic, healthy philosophy will rub off on you and you may be inspired to be healthier all-around.

Dr. Magwood is a great chiropractor with an intuitive touch! More than 6 years ago (I lost count), he healed my chronic neck pain – my story was published in the Clifton Merchant magazine. Before that time, I could not do any needlework for more than 3 years! I was and am grateful for his treatment. Recently, I began to receive treatment for my osteoarthritis. His adjustments and care, along with exercise, are helping to release tension and reduce pain. I’m also comfortable with his assistant, Dr. Matt. His office manager, Jillian, has always been helpful and cheerful.
Dr. Magwood is by far the best chiropractor I’ve been treated by during the past 25 years of chiropractic treatment. His overall approach to correcting misalignments is second to none. I feel that his approach to diagnosing and treating my back condition is much more advanced and precise than any other chiropractor I’ve every used!

I have been Dr. Magwood’s patient since 2006 when the practice was known under the name of Chiropractic Wellness Center. Dr. Magwood is extremely knowledgeable, caring and dedicated to his patients’ wellbeing. The treatment plan helped me tremendously with my back pain which is all but gone now. I continue maintenance visits now and cannot be happier with the results. The center’s staff is very friendly and flexible when I need to change the appointment time on a short notice. Dr. Magwood has been our whole family’s chiropractor for over 7 years now. My wife found his care to be a integral part of both pregnancies. My wife felt great under his care through both pregnancies and her deliveries were uneventful and her words, not mine- not half as bad as what women say delivery can be. Dr. Magwood adjusted both of our infants within the first week of their lives, and continues to monitor our children’s posture. He recently was able to help us identify a posture our 4 year old son plays in that was causing shortening in the hamstring. In the same day, my wife was adjusted and the pain she was experiencing in her shoulder for weeks was better instantly. Our family finds Dr. Magwood’s care to be the ultimate in standards that is rare to find today. The whole experience is exemplary. From walking in the door, to treatment, to follow up, the environment is warm, friendly, peaceful and positive. All of the staff members at the Pure Balance Center are gems to converse with while waiting for your adjustment. Dr. Magwood is an extremely gifted healer. He is talented in many ways including his presence, intuition, and physical ability to manipulate his patient’s bodies. I am over 6 feet tall and find his force and speed of adjustment flows with ease from his body. We’ve consulted with Dr. Magwood often on our children’s health and habits and he always has answers and solutions. To think back through the years Dr. Magwood cared for all of us, there truly are too many experiences to account; however we can tell you that they have ALL been positive. Even when we have been running around all day with 2 small kids, and we stop at the Pure Balance Center for adjustments while the kids are full of energy and we’re exhausted, the staff makes the care for all of us easy. Weather it’s engaging our kids while we get adjusted to reminding us a family who gets adjusted together truly is a bonding experience (IT REALLY IS! TRY IT IF YOU HAVEN’T) the experience is top notch. My wife has also had the pleasure of experiencing IM=X Pilates at the Pure Balance Center with Dr. Pozzebon. Not only did she love the session with him and the XERCIZERS, she raved about the work out itself and how her body felt after it. We give the Pure Balance Center and Dr. Magwood a 5 star review.
